Benzoyl Peroxide Wash is a therapeutic combination of a sudsy cleanser and a 5% benzoyl peroxide for the treatment of acne.

Wet affected area, wash, and rinse well. Use once or twice daily or as directed by a physician. If bothersome drying or peeling occurs, reduce applications. If going outside, use a sunscreen.

Active Ingredient- Benzoyl Peroxide 5%
Inactive Ingredients- Purified Water, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Carbomer, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben.

I`ve been using this product on and off for about 6 months. It was too harsh for my face at first, but I got used to it. For best results leave on for about 10 minutes then wash it off. In doing this, it dries out all your breakouts.
Pros: dries out breakouts
Cons: can be harsh bleaches clothes

I`m transitioning from prescription topicals for my skin and this is really working well.

Great product! Would highly recommend for people with acne prone skin. I usually have horrible break outs before and during menses, but this help reduce the number of breakouts. This is a great alternative to birth control to combat acne. Will make your face a little dry so I reduce to washing my face with this product only at night, then I follow up with Topix glycolic 10% pads which are great! I would not recommend using this product around the eyes, can make thin skin around the eyes irritated.
Pros: Reduce acne breakouts.
Cons: Can make skin a little more sensitive.

Was prescribed Benzoyl Peroxide 5% wash by my dermatologist years ago. I was amazed to see that I could purchase it online without the prescription. Saves me the cost of the doctor`s visit and the wash costs about the same as my prescription copay.
Pros: clears my face, works well, price
Cons: can dry out your face depending on your skin type. recommends avoiding sun.
